JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our healthcare unit works to provide patients aged 18 and over with quality care at the primary care level in the patient's home. As a nurse with us, you will have an independent, varied job where planning and prioritization are important parts. You will work with assessment, planning, execution, and follow-up of healthcare interventions in the patient's home. Together with an engaged healthcare team, you will also guide and support other professional groups to help them grow in their professional roles. The work is mobile and changeable with many different contacts with patients and relatives, colleagues, and others within and outside the organization where the region is an important partner.

You play a crucial role in shaping person-centered care based on each patient's unique needs and wishes. With us, you become part of a professional and dedicated group. We continuously work to improve care quality and meet the changing needs of both patients and society.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for you who are a registered nurse or soon to be registered. If you have previous experience working as a nurse, that is an advantage. A good subject competence and a willingness to stay updated in your professional field are prerequisites for succeeding in the role. As a person, you are independent, proactive, and responsible.

It is advantageous if you have completed specialist training in relevant areas. The work requires you to have a careful and systematic approach, an eye for detail, and the ability to prioritize correctly. You are pedagogical in your communication, considerate in your approach, and enjoy working closely in a team. A B driver's license is required.

To succeed in the role, you need to have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Skellefteå Municipality is a Finnish and Sámi administrative municipality, so it is advantageous if you can speak Finnish or Sámi. If you can also use sign language, we see it as an asset in our operations.
