Heart Center in Umeå

The Heart Center in Umeå aims to provide the best care for heart patients in northern Sweden. We offer highly specialized cardiac care and have overall responsibility for the region's patients.

The Heart Center includes the Cardiology Clinic, Thoracic Surgery, Cardiology, PCI Lab, Arrhythmia Unit, as well as Clinical Physiology and the Center for Cardiovascular Genetics. We investigate, treat, and operate on patients from the entire northern region with diseases of the heart, lungs, and coronary arteries. By collaborating across borders, having efficient care chains, working on continuous improvement, and employing competent staff, we can offer care of very high quality. In close collaboration with the university, we conduct research, development, and education.

Arrhythmia Unit

The Arrhythmia Unit is an innovative unit in constant development. Here, research is conducted that keeps us at the forefront with new modern methods. We examine and treat patients with heart rhythm disturbances. We perform catheter ablations, pacemaker/ICD implants, and hemodynamic cardiac catheterizations, and we also have a pacemaker/ICD clinic and analyze various types of long-term ECGs. The Arrhythmia Unit is part of the Heart Center in Umeå, which ranks highly when it comes to Sweden's best cardiac care. You will be welcomed into a workgroup with a good atmosphere. The design of the operation also provides opportunities for clinical career paths where competence is utilized for the benefit of the operation and the patient. We have 12 employees working in three labs where various types of operations are performed. In the Arrhythmia Unit, we work Monday to Friday, and working hours are scheduled based on the needs of the operation. With us, you will have a varied and developing job where your competence is utilized for the benefit of the operation and the patient. We collaborate in teams with Nursing Assistants, Biomedical Analysts, Nurses, Department Managers, and Doctors. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

As a Nurse with us, you will perform catheter ablations, pacemaker/ICD implants, and hemodynamic cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker/ICD clinic work, and analyze various types of long-term ECGs. We have developed the role of nurse with a specialist function for the clinic's operations. Our operations are conducted in three high-tech labs, in the clinic, and in nearby facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse. Experience in cardiac care is an advantage.
