Specialist Doctor in General Medicine

Mariehem Health Center has approximately 12,500 registered patients. It is located in Mariehem, Umeå. A five-minute walk takes you down to Nydalasjön. Mariehem Health Center is part of the primary care area Nord, which also includes Sävar, Robertsfors, and Ersboda health centers. You will work at Mariehem Health Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist doctor with us, you contribute knowledge and engagement that makes people feel safe and validated in their interactions with you.

The work is characterized by meetings with people of all ages, with all sorts of health-related issues. In general medicine specialist work, you will follow an individual's various health problems over time and consider the person's entire life situation in your assessments. As a specialist, you are expected to support doctors in training in their ongoing work and mentor during designated mentoring time. You are also expected to be an active part of the medical group's and health center's meetings, dialogues, and improvement efforts.

On-call duties in primary care and primary care backup are included in the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this job, you need to be a specialist doctor in general medicine, or alternatively in the final stages of your residency in general medicine. An interest in mentoring students and training doctors is important.

You are a present and positive person who, with expert knowledge and care, sees the patient and contributes to a holistic view that makes the care process better and safer. You enjoy collaborating and being there for other people. You have experience working in teams.
