About the unit

You will belong to the Swedish Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Unit (FMTIS), Implementation Unit South (GE Syd) located in Eksjö. GE Syd conducts operations that ensure the Armed Forces' ability to communicate and lead, around the clock - year-round. GE Syd consists of over 170 employees distributed across 7 departments in 6 locations within Military Region South.

The Implementation Department in Eksjö is growing and is now looking for a Production Planner Tele to strengthen our team.

About the position

As a Production Planner, you will report directly to the section manager. The position of Production Planner does not include personnel responsibility.

Your main task as a Production Planner is to prepare, plan, and lead assignments for installation, commissioning, and preventive/corrective maintenance work on technical surveillance systems (TB). Several security systems are used within the Armed Forces, such as Milestone, RCO, Unison, Sentrion S4, Salto, among others.

You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on completed actions in the case and documentation system. The work is performed both individually and together with others. Training and exercises at other locations are a natural part of the job.

Main tasks

  • Distribute incoming assignments/cases and follow up on planning, execution, and reporting of work for the TB staff
  • Make decisions and implement priorities in the daily TB production
  • Be responsible for and lead production meetings
  • Represent and advocate for the department at various collaboration and planning meetings
  • Be jointly responsible for purchasing/orders, inventory management, disposal, and material inventory. Coordinate the control of measuring instruments
  • Collaborate with local customers, external suppliers/installers, and central and regional management
  • Staff work in the department's management team
  • Work in the management group to drive the department's development forward together
  • Support in TB assignments as needed, support the project coordinator in various tasks

In this position, you will receive the guidance and additional training required to give you the best conditions to carry out your work.

Qualifications

  • High school or post-secondary education with a focus on Tele or equivalent knowledge that can be assessed as equivalent by the employer
  • Experience in administrative tasks
  • Documented experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of access and alarm systems
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneNote
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in leadership and planning
  • Driving license B

Meritorious

  • Documented knowledge of Milestone, RCO, Unison, Sentrion S4
  • Understanding of concepts and functions within TCP/IP, switching, and routing within the framework of access and alarm systems
  • Completed military service or basic military training
  • Other completed military training
  • Military driving licenses

Other

The employment is a permanent position at 100% with a 6-month probationary period for those not employed by the Armed Forces.

The workplace is Eksjö.

The position is civilian. Full-time employment. Travel in the service is included. On-call duty and weekend work may occur. Start date according to agreement.
