Quality Engineer Wanted for High-Tech Business

Do you want to contribute to developing quality in a high-tech and growing business? We are currently looking for a quality engineer who wants to strengthen quality assurance in our production. Here you will have a role where you coordinate quality work and drive long-term improvements together with an engaged team.

Start: February 2026 by agreement

End: December 2026

Responsibilities

As a quality engineer with our client, you will play a central role in further developing quality assurance as the business grows. You will be responsible for coordinating, recommending, and planning the quality assurance activities required in both daily operations and the projects you are involved in.

You will drive and follow up on improvement measures to ensure high product quality and develop our client's working methods. The work is carried out in close collaboration with production employees and in cross-functional teams where problem-solving and long-term process improvements are the focus. The role offers good opportunities to shape the content based on your skills and interests.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Ensure product quality and be responsible for quality assurance activities and methods
  • Monitor the quality situation and initiate necessary actions
  • Conduct root cause analyses and drive corrective actions
  • Contribute to developing the department's overall competence
  • Work closely and support production staff in quality issues

You will be part of a newly formed team responsible for production technical issues, including production quality. You will report to production technology and also have a strong connection to the quality department as well as close collaboration with purchasing quality.

We are looking for someone with a humble and curious approach. You enjoy working analytically and solution-focused, and you have a natural drive for quality in everything you do. The role suits you if you thrive with many points of contact and enjoy being the one who holds together quality work between different functions.

You are confident in taking responsibility for your tasks and working both independently and in a team. To succeed in the role, you need to be communicative and able to explain quality risks in a convincing and pedagogical way. You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Requirements

  • Engineering background or equivalent competence with a focus on quality
  • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • Ability to present, explain, and communicate quality risks clearly

Meritorious

  • Experience working in a production-related environment
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
  • Experience with IPC-610 and IPC-620
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC

Your Employment

The position means that you will be employed by Jefferson Wells, but you will spend your working days with our client. This is a consulting assignment lasting approximately 10 months.
