We are now looking for a Master Planner for an international industrial company, where you will play a key role as the hub of the business's planning. In this role, you will be responsible for conveying the factory's needs and conditions into the S&OP process and ensuring a balanced and effective overall planning.

As a Master Planner, you have the overall responsibility for production planning at operational, tactical, and strategic levels. You ensure that demand is met with the right capacity, further develop the planning processes, and drive improvement initiatives focusing on cost reduction and increased delivery precision. The role also involves responsibility for volume and inventory forecasts, monitoring outcomes, and initiating actions to achieve set goals.

You are responsible for ensuring that the inventory process is followed and developed, compiling the factory's data for S&OP, and acting quickly and structured in case of deviations in purchasing such as lead times, deliveries, or price changes.

Your mission in brief

• Lead and develop production planning at operational, tactical, and strategic levels

• Ensure and further develop the inventory process

• Be responsible for S&OP reporting and relevant KPIs

• Optimize inventory levels and holding costs

• Drive forecasting work for volume and inventory and initiate appropriate actions

• Own and ensure the quality of MPS/MFG-Pro data and master data, including item setup

• Be the cohesive function in the business's development projects

• Ensure that the planning team drives the implementation of Teamcenter from a factory perspective

• Represent the planning function in the local management group

• Lead and distribute work within the planning team

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of production and demand planning at all levels

• Documented experience in forecasting, inventory optimization, and cost control

• Experience in production preparation

• Knowledge in operational purchasing

• Experience in budget work related to planning and purchasing

• Ability to develop processes and relevant metrics

• Very good system proficiency in MPS/MFG-Pro or equivalent ERP system

• Good collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally

• Experience in project management

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Your profile

You are an analytical and business-oriented planner with deep expertise in production and demand planning. You are confident in forecasting and inventory optimization, have a strong understanding of systems, and enjoy translating data into concrete decisions and improvements.

As a person, you are unpretentious, structured, and flexible, and you find it easy to switch between operational work and strategic issues in a complex industrial environment.
