As a Production Engineer, you will become an important part of a business that is in an exciting phase of development. Production is growing and the department continues to develop, which means you will have the opportunity to influence working methods, processes, and future production solutions. The role is broad and varied, where you work closely with production to solve technical challenges, support the business in daily operations, and drive improvement initiatives. You will become a key person between production, design, and development projects, with a focus on ensuring efficient and robust manufacturing processes. A large part of the work involves problem-solving. This can range from analyzing deviations and improving workflows to ensuring that newly developed products are manufacturable before they reach production. You will also participate in industrialization projects where you contribute production technical competence early in the development phase. In the long run, you will have the opportunity to work with different production areas and develop several competence areas within examples such as testing, lean work, production development, or industrialization. Your main tasks:

  • Work closely with production to solve technical problems and support during deviations
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes, tools, and working methods
  • Review design documentation and implement design changes
  • Participate in industrialization projects and ensure manufacturability in new products
  • Create and update production documentation, instructions, and process descriptions
  • Ensure that the right equipment, tools, and aids are available in production
  • Contribute to the development of production layout, flows, and working methods
  • Support and train production staff in production technical issues
  • Department meetings and planning together with the team
  • Check-ins with team leaders regarding priorities and current assignments
  • Meetings with production, quality, logistics, and other support functions

As a Production Engineer, you will belong to a department that today consists of approximately 14 people with competence in production technology, industrialization, production quality, project management, and lean work. In the immediate team, five production technicians currently work together with a team leader who leads and distributes the daily work. The group is characterized by close collaboration where knowledge exchange and support between colleagues is a natural part of everyday life. As a new member of the role, you will receive a well-thought-out introduction with shadowing and support from experienced colleagues. You will gradually take more responsibility as you get to know the products, processes, and business. Your profile We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in technology, whether through education, work experience, or personal engagement in your spare time. You thrive in an environment where not all answers are available from the start and are motivated by being part of building, improving, and developing the business over time. As a person, you are calm and analytical in your approach. You like to understand the root cause of problems before acting and enjoy collaborating with many different functions. We also believe that you are service-oriented, unpretentious, and enjoy contributing ideas and improvement suggestions. Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in production technology, mechanical engineering, electronics, or equivalent, alternatively relevant work experience
  • Experience of production and manufacturing processes
  • Experience working with technical documentation
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
The assignment is classified. Prior to employment, you must undergo a security check and be approved according to current security protection regulations. This may entail requirements for certain citizenship.Merits:
  • Knowledge in electronics and/or mechanics
  • Experience with MPS systems, such as IFS
  • Experience with CAD tools such as Siemens NX or similar
  • Experience from defense, electronics, or other high-tech industries
