In our production facility in Värnamo, a lot happens every day. Machines, material flows, and people collaborate to create a stable and efficient operation. The role of PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN combines technology, improvement work, and a clear presence in production. Here, you will have overall technical responsibility for the machinery, production environment, and parts of the property, with a daily routine close to operators, production, and quality. The focus is on ensuring stable, safe, and efficient production over time.

With us, production technology is a hands-on and practical role where you have an overall technical grasp of our machines and how they function in everyday life. You work both preventively and reactively, responsible for ensuring that planned and daily maintenance works as it should, is followed up, and developed over time. Most of your workday will be spent in production, in close dialogue with operators, production, and quality. You keep track of the machines' condition, follow up on service and preventive measures, troubleshoot when something doesn't work as it should, and simultaneously drive improvements in how we work, contributing to the standardization of work methods, how the flow can be even better, and how our production environment functions as a whole.

Examples of Responsibilities

• Ensure operational reliability of machines and equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise in production
• Plan, follow up, and develop preventive maintenance
• Be involved in service and collaborate with machine suppliers and other external vendors
• Ensure critical spare parts are available
• Contribute to order and tidiness in production through structure around machines, spare parts, and work methods
• Participate in machine investments and development of the production environment
• Follow up on production processes, key figures, and product calculations
• Monitor production through key figures and production data to support improvement work
• Drive improvement work related to flow, work methods, and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with production leaders and quality functions
• Participate in work related to workplace safety, security, chemical handling, and property-related issues

YOUR PROFILE

We believe you have a technical background from the manufacturing industry where you have worked closely with machines and production and have a good understanding of how machines work in practice. You are used to troubleshooting, adjusting, and working preventively to avoid downtime, and you enjoy being out in the operation close to both machines and people. Perhaps you currently work as a maintenance technician, workshop technician, production technician, or in a similar technical role where you combine practical work with improvements in production and want to take on a greater overall responsibility. You are self-driven, proactive, and take responsibility for ensuring that what needs to be done is accomplished while also having an interest in improvement work and how production can be developed in a smart and sustainable way.
