We are currently looking for a new colleague for part-time work at our store in Västerås, starting as soon as possible and on an ongoing basis throughout the year as needed.

What does a pawnbroker do?

As a pawnbroker, you are Sefina's face to the public and meet a large number of customers daily, both in-store and online. You work with valuation and lending, where you are responsible for ensuring that customers' valuables are valued and lent correctly and stored with the utmost care and security.

As a pawnbroker, you act as the customers' advisor and guide them through the pawning process with clarity and professionalism. Additionally, you work with sales in-store and online, prepare auctions, inventory, reporting, and participate in development projects as needed.

At Sefina, we are aware that our customers may be in sensitive situations. Your ability to handle each interaction with discretion and respect is crucial for a good customer experience.

We are looking for someone who

Is over 18 years old and has completed high school. Since customer service is always a priority, it is important that you have experience working in retail, reception, banking, or similar roles, and are passionate about providing exceptional service. It is a significant advantage if you have cash handling experience and have worked with the most common valuables found in our stores. However, the most important thing is that you have a strong interest in, for example, gold, jewelry, and watches and want to learn more.

To quickly succeed in getting into the work, good computer skills, experience with the Office suite, and the ability to easily adapt to new systems are important. You have a good understanding of finance and numbers and are fluent in both Swedish and English. It is a merit if you speak additional languages.

As a person, you are very responsible and enjoy working in a team. You are organized, flexible, security-conscious, detail-oriented, and a skilled problem solver and communicator.

Some final details

This is a general fixed-term employment starting as soon as possible and on an ongoing basis throughout the year as needed. Working hours are scheduled based on the store's opening hours, and you need to be available to work both daytime and evenings, Saturdays, and holidays. Full-time with us means 38.5 hours per week.
