About the job

In this position, you’re responsible for supporting purchasing operations, ensuring compliance with purchasing policies, strategic objectives, guidelines and KPI’s, making sure our ERP system and data are up to date with the latest information from suppliers.

Also included in your mission:

• Measure and follow up performance within defined areas.
• Administer order acknowledgments, including follow up and to take actions on deviations from purchase orders.
• Update our M3 ERP system for direct and indirect purchase with pricing, supplier info and lead times.
• Provide purchasing support to internal users and monitor deliveries.
• Manage user administration and daily operations to support order flow.
• Support the business in purchasing issues and purchasing process improvements and tools.
• Act as a key user for some purchasing systems and tools, supporting other functions when needed.

You’re preferably located in Fagersta, Sweden, while other locations can be considered. You’re expected to be present at the office, but working from home is possible upon agreement.

Your profile

We put a lot of emphasis on your personality, especially on your social skills! You have high agency and prominent interpersonal as well as communication skills. Complementing this is your agility, results-driven mindset and willingness to adapt in an ever-changing environment. You’re proactive with a strong service orientation, work ethic and self-motivation.

We’re looking for someone with a few years’ working experience in a similar role. You have a passion for purchasing, great business acumen, proven negotiation skills and legal understanding of contracts. You have a relevant education or equivalent experience, specialized in the field of purchasing. Acting in a global environment calls for proficiency in English and Swedish, verbally and in writing.
