We are looking for a senior and self-driven Business Controller for a qualified interim assignment within financial operations. The assignment involves clear responsibility for financial follow-up, analysis, and decision support to both management and business operations. The role entails close collaboration with the CFO, other finance functions, and the business.

This is an assignment for you who are confident in the controller role, accustomed to taking responsibility, and can quickly immerse yourself in complex financial flows.

• Period: March 2026 – September 2026
• Location: Stockholm
• Reports to: CFO

In the role of Business Controller, you are responsible for delivering relevant, accurate, and decision-supporting financial information. Your main tasks include:

• Responsibility for financial aspects related to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ongoing financial reporting to management and operations
• Result and variance analysis as well as monitoring of key performance indicators
• Cost and budget follow-up
• Management and follow-up of supplier invoices
• Support and advice to the business in financial matters
• Participation in the development and improvement of financial processes and working methods
• Requirement setting and participation in finance-related development initiatives

To succeed in this assignment, we prefer that you have:

• Approximately 4-5 years of experience as a Business Controller within banking, finance companies, or similar financial operations
• Experience in lending and leasing operations
• Good experience in working with and developing financial processes and routines
• Very good system skills, preferably within Cognos
• Desirable if you have worked with advanced analysis and BI tools

As a person, you are driven, solution-oriented, and confident in your role. You are used to working independently while enjoying collaboration with others and contributing to a positive team climate.

• Competence: High generalist competence or very high specialist competence
• Experience: Extensive experience with complex assignments of very high quality
• Leadership: Takes responsibility for and can lead larger workgroups if needed
• Independence: Very high, works proactively and with great personal responsibility
