We are looking for an experienced consultant in Business Control for a temporary assignment focused on financial monitoring, analysis, and business support. The assignment is for a maternity leave cover and is placed within Finance & Economics, reporting directly to the CFO.

In the role of Business Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, relevant, and decision-supporting financial information to management and the business. The assignment combines operational work with analysis and advisory, as well as contributing to the development of financial processes and methods.

The role is part of the Finance & Economics group, which consists of four employees and a manager. The work is carried out in close collaboration with both finance functions and other parts of the business and the group.

Responsibilities and duties

• Work with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Ongoing financial reporting to management and operations

• Analysis of results, deviations, and key figures

• Cost and budget follow-up

• Management and follow-up of supplier invoices

• Support and advice to the business in financial matters

• Contribute to the improvement and development of financial processes and routines

• Requirements for development and improvement initiatives may occur

Requirements for the position:

• At least 5 years of experience working as a Business Controller in a bank or finance company

• Experience in lending and leasing operations

• Familiarity with contributing to the development and improvement of financial processes

• Good system skills in Cognos Controller, Planning Analytics, Medius, and E1

• Desirable experience with analytical tools and interest in data-driven methods

• A proactive, driven, and solution-oriented approach

• Ability to collaborate well and contribute as a positive team player
