Summer Substitute for Nacka's Social Psychiatry

Your Mission

The social psychiatry in Nacka municipality consists of several different operations, and as a summer substitute, you may work in all of them.

Your tasks include working with implementation plans, daily documentation, and, when working in group homes, taking medical delegation. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.

Group Homes

Måsen and Helenebergsvägen are Nacka municipality's two group homes. Clients live in their own apartments with access to common areas for social interaction.

As a substitute, you support and encourage clients in their daily lives. The support is tailored to the individual's needs, aiming to strengthen independence, well-being, and the ability to handle everyday situations.

Housing Support

Housing support provides individual assistance to clients in their own homes. You help the client develop skills that facilitate daily life, for example, by creating effective routines or breaking social isolation.

The interventions are based on decisions from authorities and are individually designed. The work is independent and largely takes place in the field.

Social Pedagogical Interventions and Meeting Places

Social psychiatry operates two meeting places: Café Lyktan and Träffpunkten. The services are aimed at people with long-term mental health issues and are open on weekdays.

Here, visitors are offered community, opportunities for social interaction, and participation in activities often designed together with the clients.

Your Experience

To be considered for the position, it is a requirement that you:

• Are at least 18 years old
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have studied or are studying the care and nursing program with a focus on psychiatry, or are a social worker/psychologist or behavioral scientist at a university or college

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with the target group, have some form of pedagogical experience, or have worked with addiction issues and eviction prevention.

As a substitute, you are employed by the Competence Supply Unit within Nacka Municipality, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing care personnel during short-term absences and monthly substitutes. As a summer substitute, you will work in one or more of our operations depending on how much you want to work this summer. We offer you the opportunity to work as a temporary substitute both before and after your summer substitute position.

Criminal Record Extract

In accordance with the Nacka Social Committee's decision, an extract from the Police's criminal and suspicion register is required in connection with employment. Extract for work at HVB homes.
