About the role

At Ramboll Healthcare, we create sustainable, smart, and safe healthcare environments for the future. We develop hospitals and healthcare centers that promote good care and contribute to sustainable community development. Through multidisciplinary teams that combine technology, architecture, and automation, we create healthcare environments that truly make a difference.

We have several projects underway in southern Sweden and are looking for an experienced building designer who wants to help shape the future of healthcare buildings in the region and grow with our team.

We are looking for you

We are looking for someone who has the ability to turn ideas into action and enjoys collaborating with both colleagues and clients. We value experience in similar assignments, but above all, your commitment to hospital projects.

To succeed and thrive in this role, we believe the following applies to you:

  • You have experience and technical competence in building design for complex assignments
  • You have several years of experience as a project manager and want to take the next step in your career, or you have experience in project leadership and enjoy taking on the business and technical responsibility in assignments as well as developing projects from early stages together with our clients
  • You thrive in an international environment where experience in hospital projects is an advantage
  • You have an academic degree in civil engineering or equivalent
  • You have good collaboration skills and want to share your experiences and grow together with your colleagues.

This is what you will do with us

Within the division, 15 building designers focus on healthcare buildings across all regions of Sweden. We work with local clients but also support assignments in other parts of the country. Project and development work is closely coordinated with Ramboll's other building designers - a network of over a hundred experts who are more than happy to share their knowledge and experience.

The team is currently primarily based in Stockholm and Nyköping, but we have ambitions to build up teams in southern Sweden, where we already have several colleagues within Healthcare in place. This is a unique opportunity to help shape our development and collaborate with some of the sharpest specialists in the industry.

Examples of tasks:

  • Project management or assignment management in building design for hospital projects
  • Work closely with the client to define goals and create an understanding of the client's needs
  • Coordinate the work among all parties in the project to work towards the same goals
  • Develop relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues in our global hospital group both nationally and internationally, as well as with colleagues in building design and other business areas within Ramboll.

Why you should choose Ramboll Healthcare

  • You will work on complex, socially beneficial projects that make a real difference
  • You will be part of a network of highly skilled experts
  • We offer continuous professional development and career opportunities
  • Flexible working arrangements, work-life balance, and a strong focus on sustainability
  • You will be part of an international company with a strong local presence in Sweden
  • You will work in multidisciplinary teams where collaboration and cross-functional solutions are at the center.

We hope you want to be part of our team!

We welcome diversity in all its forms and encourage applicants from all groups to apply. We know that some applicants only apply if they meet all the criteria. Passion and potential can, however, often outweigh a perfect CV, and at Ramboll, you will receive help and support to grow. If you identify with this role but do not meet all the criteria, we still encourage you to submit your application. You could be the perfect fit for this position or another role in our team.
