About the role

As an automation engineer, you have a central role that includes everything from technical design and programming to commissioning and optimization. You work closely with the technology and are responsible for delivering reliable and energy-efficient control and monitoring systems for buildings. The work includes PLC/DDC programming, creating functional descriptions, I/O lists, and technical documentation. You integrate systems for ventilation, heating, and cooling, ensuring that communication between different platforms works correctly. The role also includes:

• Sizing of control strategies • Troubleshooting and testing prior to commissioning • Optimization of operation and energy performance • Technical dialogue with clients and contractors

About you

We are looking for someone with experience in building automation, control, and regulation technology, or a related technical field. You may have gained your knowledge through education or experience, but it is important that you have a good understanding of how technical systems in buildings function and interact. It is also important that you have:

• Experience in PLC programming (Siemens is a merit)

• Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written

• Driving license B

As a person, you are responsible and confident in your skills. You have a clear technical interest and want to continue developing. The role involves dialogue with both customers and colleagues, which requires you to be communicative and able to explain technical solutions in a structured and trustworthy manner. You work independently, take initiative, and contribute to good collaboration in projects.
