About Us

We offer you a varied and diverse job where we actively work for the multimorbid elderly patient. Many of those we meet have not just one illness but often several that we need to consider and treat from a holistic perspective. This means that the patient gets to meet many different professions; the team consists of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and social workers. With us, we get to know the patients, and our goal is to build a good relationship, as we work person-centered.

We provide acute geriatric inpatient care with direct admission around the clock via the emergency department. We also have a specialist clinic for the investigation of memory problems and a mobile team ALMA. The department has 12 care places.

The geriatric department has adopted new working methods and improvements where our staff have been driving forces, including actively working with safe and secure discharges and preventing care injuries among our elderly patients. Openness to changes is important to us, and we believe you enjoy being part of a wonderful team where laughter and care are always present. We also believe that you are a person who can empathetically put yourself in the situation of the patient and their relatives.

The department is Silvia-certified in dementia care.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse, your duties include medication administration, nursing care, central lines, wound dressings, blood transfusions, and supervising students. With us, you will have good opportunities to develop and vary your tasks in collaboration with the entire team.

We have care leaders who actively work on developing routines and provide support to you as an employee.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in geriatric care. You are open to changes, new ideas, and working methods, as well as being structured and organized. You enjoy working in a team and have a strong interest in the geriatric multimorbid patient. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Type and Workload

We offer permanent employment in full-time or part-time positions with start date by agreement.
