JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an operations technician, you will primarily work with district heating production. The role involves taking care of the operation and maintenance of the production facilities at Varberg Energi and managing the distribution of district heating.

Your main task will be to monitor the production process through computerized control systems and to carry out necessary maintenance. You will also be responsible for optimizing the combustion process and conducting repairs, troubleshooting, and efficiency improvements in our production facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology and knowledge in operations and maintenance. You are self-driven, proactive, and skilled at planning your own time. Your background includes relevant experience in areas such as operations/maintenance technology with a focus on energy, processes, shipping, or similar. Requirements:

• Driver's license B.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Experience in operations and maintenance.

Preferred qualifications include advanced knowledge in any of the following areas:

• Control and regulation technology.
• Combustion of solid fuels.
• Experience working as a boiler operator.
