About the assignment
I am in need of an assistant for my group who can work as a part-time and summer substitute for me. The work is distributed over a 24-hour period from 08:00 to 08:00.
I am a girl almost 28 years old living in an apartment in Kävlinge, about a 10-minute walk from the train station. I have a severe intellectual disability and autism. Therefore, I require personal assistance around the clock.
I need help from my assistant with tasks such as personal hygiene, getting dressed, household chores, cooking, as well as planning and executing activities. I am a positive girl and enjoy when my assistants joke with me. I also like to be active and have a great interest in horses. I ride once a week and work at the stable once a week, so it is important that you, who work with me, can handle that environment. I enjoy taking the train, going on trips, swimming, cycling with a side-by-side bike, and blowing bubbles. Two days a week, I work at a daily activity center in Kävlinge. I have my assistant with me who supports and motivates me in my work.
I have a close relationship with my family, and it is important that my assistants build a good relationship with those I spend time with, so that I can feel as comfortable as possible.
I lack verbal communication but communicate using TAKK (sign language support). To make my day clearer, I use a visual schedule and time aids. My assistants work based on a low-arousal approach, which works best in relation to me.
I am looking for a female assistant who can work with me. The job primarily involves working alone, so you need to be able to manage that.
You also need to have a B driver's license as I have access to my own car that my assistants drive.
