Are you an experienced leader/manager who thrives in a dynamic environment with a focus on delivery, quality, and collaboration?
Are you looking for a role where your leadership, values, and willingness to contribute to the best of the Armed Forces can be realized?
The Swedish Armed Forces (FM) and the Local Planning Units (LplE) are growing, and we are now looking for you who want to contribute to the development of the Armed Forces' infrastructure.
About the Unit
The Local Planning Unit South (LplE Syd) is part of the Naval Base and constitutes the Armed Forces' ordering competence regarding land and premises towards the Fortifications Agency. LplE Syd is functionally led by the Defense Staff of the Headquarters and works with planning, maintenance, procurement, and decommissioning of properties. The Armed Forces is an authority in strong growth, which is also evident within this function; the unit is in continuous development. The unit consists of approximately 30 employees and will be divided into three geographical departments led from the locations of Karlskrona, Eksjö, and Revingehed, where each department may eventually consist of about 12 employees. Together, the unit has broad knowledge of properties built on various educational backgrounds and experiences.

Another important task is coordination, primarily internally but also between the Armed Forces and its cooperating authorities. You lead meetings and are responsible for reporting to the unit manager. You are part of the management team for LplE Syd, which consists of the Unit Manager, Deputy Unit Manager, and Department Heads. You also participate in coordination meetings at the central level and regionally. The personnel in the department are located at several sites.
