The Role of Nursing Assistant

As a nursing assistant with us, you will play an important role in daily interactions with patients, collaborating with other staff categories. You will meet patients of varying ages and with multiple diagnoses, primarily patients with heart disease. This provides you with constant professional development in your daily work. The role of a nursing assistant primarily involves care, but also includes tasks such as EKG sampling, venipuncture, blood glucose testing, documentation, and telemetry management (heart monitoring).

The Cardiology Unit/HIA, which is part of the medical clinic, provides both acute and planned care for patients with various heart diseases. At HIA, we care for our most unstable patients, while the unit takes care of more stable patients. Here, you will work in an environment that values a good workplace atmosphere. Your Profile

You are a trained nursing assistant, and we prefer that you have previous experience working in a hospital ward, but this is not a requirement.

As a person, you are calm, stable, and adaptable to the various circumstances that often arise in a hospital setting. Since you will be working in a team, we appreciate that you are collaborative and attentive to both colleagues and patients. It is important for you to treat everyone with respect and empathy. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position we offer is a temporary full-time employment for one year. For the right person, there are good opportunities for the temporary position to transition into a permanent position. Start date is negotiable, but we hope you can begin as soon as possible.
