The Community Design section consists of about 300 colleagues across more than 20 offices in the country, and we operate locally, nationally, and internationally. We work as a national section where coordination of resources, assignments, tender work, technology development, and knowledge transfer is natural for us throughout the organization. We have all of Sweden as our playing field and build each project group according to the specific needs of the customer and assignments.

We want to expand our department in the north with more driven and competent designers and technical managers within Street/Land, who want to help future-proof society with us. Your personality, competence, and ability to collaborate are important to us! We are currently looking for employees for our offices in Luleå, Skellefteå, Umeå, Örnsköldsvik, Sundsvall, and Östersund. About the position We are looking for both designers and technical managers across the entire spectrum of experience, from recent graduates to very experienced (+10 years). In the role of technical manager, you will be responsible for producing tender documents and construction drawings but will also participate in investigations in various types of projects for our clients. An important and natural part of the role as a technical manager is to lead the designers within the same area but also collaborate with other technical areas. We also appreciate if you are driven to support, develop, and train our younger employees and ensure the quality of work both within the technical area and of our deliveries in general.

As a technical manager, you also have the opportunity to design if you wish; it mostly depends on what you want and how you want to develop.

As a designer, you can be very self-sufficient if you have sufficient experience, but constant communication and coordination are necessary. As a recent graduate or designer early in your career, you can expect support and training from our experienced employees and mentors.

Your profile We see that you are a trained civil engineer, engineering bachelor, or have equivalent industry-related work experience. We would like you to have experience with AMA/MER, technical descriptions, and quantity lists.

As a person, we see that you enjoy working purposefully and can independently lead and drive projects. We value good communication skills and that you have a professional approach. 

We work in a global corporation where we assemble teams across borders for assignments, so it is important that you possess very good skills in communicating in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
