As a Service Engineer for Bruks Siwertell, you play a key role in creating success for both customers and the company. By ensuring seamless commissioning of advanced standard equipment and leading qualified service efforts, renovations, and upgrades at the customer's site, you build long-term trust and maximum value in every project. The role combines technical expertise with a customer-oriented focus, where you actively represent Bruks Siwertell and thereby strengthen customer relationships.

Job Description

We are looking for an engaged and technically driven Service Engineer who wants to be a key person in our team. In this role, you represent the company at the customer's site and ensure high quality throughout the lifecycle of our products - from installation to service, support, and further development. Your main responsibilities include:

• Commissioning and testing of equipment including on-site training for the customer
• Participate in and oversee the assembly and final testing of equipment in the own workshop at home
• Perform and lead service activities including renovation, upgrading, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions both on-site with the customer and via remote support
• Actively contribute to the service and spare parts sales process and support the development of new service offerings
• Provide feedback from field service to appropriate internal channels
• Plan service activities and conduct regular customer visits to follow up on needs and create long-term collaborations
• Support the business in developing manuals, office documents, and other administrative tasks

The position has a clearly international character and involves travel to all corners of the earth, sometimes at short notice.

Qualifications

You are a mechanical engineer with a university degree or equivalent and several years of work experience in mechanical installation/repair of heavy equipment in the industrial or marine sector. General knowledge of hydraulics and electrical control systems is advantageous and valuable success factors in the role. Good Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written, are a prerequisite for the position.
