Nosaby Parish is looking for a seasonal church caretaker, 100%

Nosaby Parish has three churches and cemeteries - Nosaby, Österslöv, and Fjälkestad. We have two parish houses - Nosaby Parish House and the old rectory in Österslöv.

Job responsibilities: Maintenance and care of cemeteries, churches, and other properties. Care of graves, lawn mowing, hedge trimming, machine service, grave digging, cleaning, etc. Internal duties in the form of services, funerals, baptisms, and weddings. You prepare for services, manage sound, ring the bells, and are available for visitors and whatever needs to be done. Evening and weekend work may occur. The job is physically demanding and requires you to handle heavy lifting and periods of repetitive tasks.

We are looking for you

With experience in cemetery/landscaping work and an interest in maintaining green areas in a cemetery environment.

Who finds it easy to collaborate and is good at working in a team but can also take initiative and work alone.

Who is service-oriented and has good social skills.

Who can be a good representative of the church and the parish, provide a professional response, and enjoy meeting cemetery visitors in your daily work.

Who is a member of the Church of Sweden.

Has a B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
