Do you want to work in a high-tech industry with diverse technology and a lot of customer contact? Do you have experience from workshops or industry and a technical breadth in precision mechanics, electronics, computers, and communication? Then you might be the one we are looking for as a traveling service technician based in Malmö.

About the role

As a traveling technician, you will work on-site with our customers providing service, repair, and installation of marking machines. Here, you will utilize both your mechanical skills and your expertise in software and Windows environments.

You will work with:

• Inkjet printers (CIJ)
• Laser markers
• Thermal transfer
• Print & Apply
• Vision systems

A significant part of your working hours will be spent in the field providing both planned and emergency service for our extensive machine fleet. The majority of the trips are day trips. Over time, there will be about 4-6 overnight stays per month.

The position also includes administrative tasks such as remote support, documentation, and reporting.

There is an option for a company car.

Relevant training for the position will be provided continuously by the company.

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone with a solid technical breadth and a feel for precision mechanics combined with software. You are comfortable in IT environments, social, attentive, and enjoy customer contact. Delivering the best possible service is a given for you.

To thrive in this role, you need to appreciate a mobile workday with quick decisions at the customer's site while being comfortable with administrative tasks.

You are driven by varied work, technical challenges, and freedom with responsibility. You have analytical skills, are mentally flexible, and make well-founded decisions. Collaboration comes naturally to you – even though you are comfortable working independently, you are a team player who enjoys sharing experiences.

We place great importance on personal suitability, technical background, and a good understanding of electronics and mechanics.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Windows environments
• Good network understanding (our solutions are often integrated into the customer's infrastructure)
• Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B (required)

Upon employment, a background check will be conducted.

Meritorious

• Competence in industrial electronics and control technology
• Experience in servicing marking equipment or similar technical roles
• Experience with reporting and documentation
