Our client is an international player in energy technology that works with the operation, service, and development of power plants worldwide. The business is characterized by high technical competence, a strong safety focus, and a well-developed service organization where planning and coordination are central parts to ensure stable operation and efficient maintenance.

This is initially a consulting assignment for 6 months through us at Mero. More information about the business will be shared later in the process.

About the role

As a field service planner, you will work with planning and coordinating maintenance activities within wind power. You are responsible for planning both preventive and corrective maintenance and ensuring that the right resources, skills, and equipment are available for each assignment.

You will work closely with Site Operations Managers and technicians in the field and actively participate in planning meetings as well as follow-up on completed service activities. The role also involves working in maintenance systems where you manage work orders, planning, and follow-up of service efforts.

Your work will include:

• Planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines • Coordinating resources, personnel, and specialized equipment such as cranes and lifting tools • Administration and follow-up of Work Orders and Service Orders in maintenance systems • Ensuring correct documentation, time registration, and follow-up of completed work • Participating in planning meetings and contributing to status follow-up and reporting • Contributing to the development and improvement of planning processes and workflows

About you

To thrive in this role, we believe you have experience from practical work in wind power and a good understanding of how service and maintenance work functions in the field. You work in a structured manner, have an analytical approach, and enjoy a role where planning, coordination, and collaboration are an important part of everyday life. We would like you to have:

• A few years of experience as a wind turbine technician, senior technician, or site lead • Experience in maintenance work on turbines and related equipment • Experience in planning or coordinating service and maintenance activities • Good technical understanding and experience collaborating with multiple functions • Good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience with planning or maintenance systems, such as SAP • Experience working in larger service organizations or international environments • Worked with resource or capacity planning
