Job Responsibilities

The Property Unit of Kommunteknik is looking for a property repair technician with a focus on water facilities in public areas, fountains, and buildings.

The role includes working with water purification, high-pressure cleaning of fountains, sampling, chemical handling, and self-monitoring of swimming facilities. Other tasks involve preventive work and corrective maintenance. The job includes having a client function and coordinating subcontractors. A large part of the position involves independent work.

You will independently address deficiencies or report issues in property operations and suggest improvements. Within the group of colleagues, you have a sounding board and collaborate with other property repair technicians, operations technicians, and specialists in construction, plumbing, and electrical work. You have an important responsibility to ensure customer satisfaction with the services provided.

You will be part of a team with high demands on collaboration and networking. The position requires assistance in several areas of property operations.

Weekend work and on-call duty are included in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school education in property and construction, or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer.

We require at least 1 year of previous work experience in property operations and experience in troubleshooting/maintenance within property.

A valid B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills are required.

Technical reading comprehension in English is an advantage. Knowledge of property technology (DU, plumbing, SRÖ, electrical, etc.), drawing comprehension (property, electrical, plumbing, flowcharts), and work experience in troubleshooting within SRÖ, plumbing, and electrical are also advantageous. Experience in water purification and process industry is also a plus.

It is important that you have the ability to build good relationships within a large and varied network. You have customer focus and are professional in your interactions. You can quickly learn new tasks and understand new information to effectively manage knowledge. You are flexible and adapt to changing conditions. Being able to work independently and take personal responsibility are important traits as you often need to work alone in various environments with many different people around you. This responsibility requires high levels of accuracy, calmness, safety, and discipline.
