Engsholms Slott is a small family-owned hotel on Mörkö that has been in operation for 40 years with the same owners. Engsholms Slott is located at the northern tip of Mörkö and offers a fantastic environment with 54 hotel rooms and about 100 beds.

We are now looking for a social and cheerful

operational receptionist and conference host/hostess with a sales focus

The hotel is open every day of the week during the season, and the reception is staffed between 07:00 – 19:00. Weekend work occurs approximately every other weekend.

The position is physically on-site, i.e., not remote work.

The work is very intense during certain periods, and you must have the ability and enjoy having “many balls in the air” and handle stressful situations.

Due to seasonal operations, the work is quieter in winter. Closed during Christmas & New Year holidays and Easter.

You love hospitality and understand the importance of personal engagement and service. Additionally, you must be able to understand data systems easily, be meticulous, and maintain structure. We prefer that you have had similar work experience in the hotel industry before.

Your responsibilities include

- Focus on hospitality with a welcoming attitude

- Reception check-in & check-out

- Planning and furnishing including cleaning of conference rooms

- Some booking and planning of conferences

- Follow-up sales work towards companies

Important qualities include:

- You are very meticulous, organized, structured, and can communicate easily in both speech and writing.

- Good organizational skills with an eye for detail

- Works independently as well as in a team.

- Strong customer focus where you are attentive and solution-oriented

- Meticulous & responsible

- Clear in your communication both internally and externally

- Experience in hotel & data systems, preferably Revenue management

You live in the local area.

A driver's license and car are required as it is not always possible to reach Engsholms Slott by public transport.

The position is permanent at 80-100% annual working hours, and you will work in a small team.
