Teacher for grades 7-9, wood and metal crafts at Bodaskolan 7-9 Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in wood and metal crafts, you will create, based on applicable governing documents, conditions for students to develop ideas and consider different solutions and approaches within textile crafts. Your work includes planning, implementation, assessment, and evaluation. You are responsible for a good pedagogical learning environment and adapt and plan the teaching to each student's level so that they can reach as far as possible in their knowledge development.

You will also combine your teaching in wood and metal crafts with another subject based on qualifications and needs.

You who apply are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach crafts for grades 7-9. It is an advantage if you are qualified in both textile crafts and wood and metal crafts.

You also have very good leadership skills and a natural ability to build relationships with young people.

You have good knowledge of and experience working with students in need of support, students' challenges within NPF, students with a linguistic background other than Swedish, and students with norm-breaking behavior.

You value and contribute to good collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. Since close cooperation with guardians, student health, teachers, and other staff at the school is required, good collaboration skills and communication ability are a must. At the same time, you need to be self-driven, willing to take responsibility, and enjoy working independently to thrive in the role.

You are flexible, have the ability to take initiative, and dare to try new ways to find solutions.
