About the Workplace

We are seeking a preschool teacher who, together with colleagues and the principal, wants to lead development and learning at Mor Annas Preschool in Alafors.

In Ale, we actively work to build a learning organization, and all educators are part of collegial learning communities. In these forums, we quality-develop our preschools for the children of Ale. Colleagues meet in both municipality-wide forums and unit-specific forums to learn together based on current research.

Right now, we are learning together about how we can develop our education for a more sustainable future, project-based working methods, and outdoor teaching. We also strive to increasingly utilize aesthetic learning processes in our work with children.

Mor Annas Preschool has over 75 enrolled children divided into younger and older groups. The preschool is located in Alafors, close to forest and nature.

Job Responsibilities

At Mor Annas Preschool, we work to learn about and develop our outdoor teaching in combination with a project-based working method, areas we hope you have experience working with.

We want you to contribute your experiences and knowledge in the work towards a more sustainable future. We are in the process of reshaping our education and working more process-oriented together with the children, and you are expected to be a part of and contribute to how we shape our education and teaching moving forward.

You always put the best interests of the children at the center and organize, plan, and implement your teaching based on this.

We want you to have a teaching and exploratory approach and, together with your colleagues, take great responsibility for our children's future.

You are expected to contribute your experiences, thoughts, and knowledge and create a learning organization.

You will drive and develop the systematic quality work forward together with colleagues and the principal to create good opportunities for learning.

Qualifications

You are a licensed preschool teacher, preferably with additional training such as atelierist training, mentoring training, or similar.

You have good knowledge of governing documents and current research and have a good ability to translate this knowledge into practice.

You are a curious, pedagogical leader who easily collaborates and challenges and inspires new thoughts in both children and colleagues.

You have clear leadership and the ability to see things from multiple perspectives.

You have a good ability to reflect and analyze and, based on this, make wise professional choices.

You are solution-focused and work with great flexibility.

You have experience with project-based working methods and pedagogical documentation.

You have experience working with sustainable development and outdoor teaching in a structured and exploratory way.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
