The Role of Security Coordinator

As a security coordinator, you will work strategically and supportively to create a safe and secure environment for the employees, patients, students, and visitors of Region Jönköping County. In your role, you will:

• Coordinate and develop security work within Region Jönköping County
• Provide advice and support to managers and employees on security issues.
• Lead and drive development projects in the field of security.
• Plan and conduct training in security for our operations

The position is a permanent full-time employment based in Eksjö and involves travel throughout the county. A B driver's license is required. As the role is classified in a security class, Swedish citizenship and a passed background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) are required before employment.

The Environment, Preparedness, and Security unit consists of about 40 employees who together represent a broad competence in environment, preparedness, security, and surveillance. We are organized into four units:

• Environment
• Preparedness
• Security
• Surveillance

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree with a focus on security, crisis management, or other relevant education or experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Several years of experience in strategic security work.
• Experience in operational development and project management (meritorious).
• Is a team player with a good ability to collaborate in workgroups and create strong networks.
• Has a pedagogical ability and can communicate clearly and inspiringly.
• Is solution-focused and has a good ability to plan and organize your work.
• Is self-driven and takes initiative.
