Within the administration, experts work in libraries, art, events, youth issues, ice rinks, swimming halls, health, and much more.
Do you want to inspire children to feel safe and happy in the water? In our swimming hall, you will have a job where you truly make a difference – every day. We are now looking for a dedicated substitute who wants to work during the day and become an important part of our operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a substitute, you will primarily work in our school swimming activities where you will lead or assist in teaching student groups. You will help children develop water familiarity, work on technique learning in breaststroke and backstroke, and teach lifesaving. The job requires that you feel confident in the role of instructor and can adapt your communication to the needs and circumstances of different students.
In addition to swimming instruction, there are also tasks that contribute to a well-functioning facility. You will work on cleaning the swimming hall's surfaces to create a clean and pleasant environment, as well as doing simpler reception work where you meet visitors and assist them with questions. The role also includes some pool supervision, which requires attention, responsibility, and the ability to act quickly if something were to happen.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has previous experience leading or assisting swimming lessons, preferably with school groups. You should feel comfortable teaching breaststroke, lifesaving backstroke, and basic water familiarity. To take on the role of pool supervisor, you need to have training in lifesaving, and you should feel confident handling situations that may arise in a pool environment.
You need to be over 18 years old, responsible, and self-assured. You enjoy working with children and thrive in an environment where you can combine service, teaching, and safety work.
