Avarn Security is tasked with delivering personnel security services to the Saab Group in Sweden and abroad. The delivery is a significant part of a coordinated security provision with Avarn Security's security and technology organization.

The coordinated security delivery is one of Sweden's most complex, dynamic, and visible assignments with a nationwide customer responsibility for the group.

We are looking for someone who wants to work as needed throughout the year, especially during the summer of 2026. The employment is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period.

About the Position

Security guards work with the surveillance of critical facilities, where the demand for security is maximum. As a security guard, you will work to provide safety for our customers at sites that are crucial to the nation's security. This may include access controls, escorting, reception services, and patrols.

Qualifications

To work as a security guard, you need to be security-conscious, service-oriented, empathetic, and have an inner sense of security and a natural drive to help. You should be able to combine good service with a pronounced security mindset and have good communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements for Applicants:

• High school education with passing grades in Swedish and English
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Driving license B

Desirable Qualifications:

• Valid (not older than five years) security guard training (civil or military*)
• Basic security training (VU1 + VU2)
• Weapon training

We place great importance on your personal maturity when assessing suitability for the position.

The positions are classified in a security class, which is why a security clearance will be conducted, and Swedish citizenship is required for all positions.

In addition, you must be free from criminal records**, drug-free, have organized finances, and good health and fitness to be employed by Avarn Security. To work as a security guard, a security guard approval from the County Administrative Board is also required (we will handle that application).

* If you have completed security guard training during military basic training, it is also valid for civilian use. The training must have been completed in 2016 or later, and the certificate must not be older than 5 years. If you have security guard training through the Armed Forces without military basic training, you need to complete a shortened security guard training to work as a civilian security guard.

** All personnel at an authorized security company must be approved in a review regarding legal compliance, civic reliability, and suitability in other respects. For the approval authority's review of a person's legal compliance and civic reliability, information from the criminal record or suspicion register or information processed by the Security Police under the law on the police's processing of personal data within the criminal data law area will be obtained.
