The Social Administration runs a wide range of activities within elderly care, disability services, health and medical care, as well as individual and family care. We currently have about 300 employees.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for an occupational therapist for a temporary position until the end of the year with a chance for extension. We can offer you an exciting and varied job that provides you with broad competence in a group with a good atmosphere and positive spirit. In the department, six occupational therapists are responsible for different areas within the municipality, such as special housing focusing on somatic care and dementia, primary care, LSS, and home care. Collaboration between the different areas and helping and supporting each other is a given. Here, you are close to colleagues and other operations, which is a great advantage and facilitates cooperation. Your duties include working with assessment and training of activity and functional ability, as well as assistive device evaluation. Guidance and training for healthcare staff are important parts of the rehabilitative approach that permeates the operations. You collaborate and plan interventions together with the patient, relatives, other professional groups in the operation (e.g., nursing assistants, nurses, and unit managers), as well as with other partners (doctors, physiotherapists, and assistive device consultants).

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed occupational therapist.
• has a B driver's license and can/may drive a car.
• is a good administrator and has experience with documentation and digital tools.

We prefer that you have a few years of experience in the profession and that you are accustomed to working in electronic medical record systems.

As an occupational therapist, you need to be attentive and clear in your communication. We also believe that you have good pedagogical skills and that you contribute to a positive work climate.
