About the Organization

The Production and Service Office is a unit within the Service Administration.

The operation is revenue-financed through sales to various departments and companies of Trollhättan City, and we are a total of about 80 employees. The services provided include earthworks, green area maintenance, vehicle and workshop mechanical work, transport services, and storage services. Within the operation, there is also internal mail delivery, property management, and property services.

We are now looking for several service-oriented park workers for seasonal assignments.

Job Responsibilities

As a park worker, you will work with a variety of tasks in outdoor environments. The positions focus on green area maintenance with the following main focus:

• Seasonal work such as planting and caring for summer flowers
• Maintenance of playgrounds, park areas, and nature parks
• External maintenance of schoolyards, preschools, and youth centers
• Laying out lawns, flowerbeds, and other green areas
• Lawn mowing
• Watering urns and flowerbeds with summer flowers and perennials

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with basic education in horticulture (equivalent to agricultural high school) and/or verified experience where you have gained equivalent knowledge. If you also have good plant knowledge, it is an advantage. A Class B driver's license is required. A driver's license for a loader is an advantage. A Class C driver's license is also an advantage. Good physical condition is a prerequisite for handling the work, as heavy lifting and a fast pace are involved.

As a person, you are service-oriented, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You are driven, structured, and enjoy working together with others. Since the position involves many meetings with both colleagues and customers, a professional demeanor is required.
