About the job

We are looking for a Team Leader for our Property Group

You will be responsible for contacts with managers and those renting properties from the municipality, such as schoolyards, preschools, and nursing homes.

We are tasked with managing outdoor environments and work with lawn mowing, hedge trimming, maintenance of play areas, and much more.

A fun job with many challenges. We are working to become more digital, and it is essential that you have an interest in developing that part.

You will be part of a team together with 2 team leaders and the park manager, and it is crucial that we can collaborate and communicate on both small and large issues. The park staff manages the operation and maintenance of the green areas in Lidköping Municipality. We also take care of the walking and cycling paths in the municipality and would like you to participate as a team leader in winter road maintenance. Since we are a service department, it is important that you are flexible as our tasks sometimes change when problems arise in different areas.

Job Responsibilities

You lead and distribute work in a team with a lot of knowledge and experience; in winter, you manage 7 staff, and during the season, you have 12 people. Much of your work is performed at a computer or phone. Site visits with operational staff and businesses are necessary for you to have an overview. You will have the opportunity to continue building the team and creating routines that will improve and simplify maintenance in the long run.

Who are you?

We would like you to have a green education background or practical experience from the green space industry. You have worked with people and enjoy developing and uplifting others. You like operations and finding improvement opportunities.

Do you know machines? Have experience with procurement? Want to work with occupational safety? Permit applications to the county administrative board? Do you have other special skills that you think could be useful to us?

Requirements for the position: B driver's license, experience in leadership, and good social skills.

You will need to provide a criminal record extract from the police as we work with the maintenance of municipal properties such as schools and nursing homes.
