About Säve Plantskola

Säve Plantskola is a third-generation nursery.

In 1976, Märta and Hugo's daughter Madeleine and her husband Rolf took over the nursery. Five years later, Madeleine and Rolf decided to focus entirely on the production and sale of perennials in bulk.

In 2011, siblings Marie and Rickard took over the nursery and have since worked together to develop and drive the nursery forward.

Today, Säve Plantskola produces about 1.8 million perennials per year and offers around 1400 different varieties.

Our customers range from garden shops, landscaping companies, and housing companies to municipalities and cemetery administrations.

Säve Plantskola is a perennial grower in constant development that offers an interesting assortment of good quality.

Qualifications

You should be practically inclined, meticulous, and in good physical condition. Since spring is our most intensive period of the year, we also place significant importance on your strong work ethic and ability to work at a fast pace. You should have a sense of order and be able to communicate easily.

A driver's license (B) is not required but is an advantage.

Good to know; we work outdoors regardless of the weather, rain or shine.

Job Responsibilities

As an order picker, you will often work in pairs. You will pick plants in the growing areas according to a customer order list. The plants are cleaned of unsightly leaves and any weeds are removed before they are placed in trays and loaded onto carts. We use electric vehicles with trailers for order picking as well as cc-trucks. (No forklift license required) In addition to these tasks, other duties may also occur.

Other: The nursery is located in the countryside, and it is 2 km to the nearest bus stop; having access to a car makes it easier to get here.

We are a smoke-free workplace.

If you are under 18, there is an opportunity to work extra during the spring, but we cannot offer summer jobs to those who have not yet turned 18 at the start.

Working Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. 30 min lunch break.

Duration: Seasonal employment with various start dates and lengths. Start weeks: 12, week 14.
