Bjällansås Meat is a fully integrated, KRAV-certified beef farm in Bokenäs. Our focus is on pasture management, healthy animals, and raising high-quality meat. The total area managed by the farm is 500 ha, of which 270 ha is permanent grassland and 230 ha is cultivated. The cultivation is for winter feed where one-fifth of the pasture is renewed every spring. In summer, all animals graze, and in winter they are kept in airy loose housing barns.

We are now looking for a tractor driver to operate, maintain, and improve our machinery fleet.

Responsibilities

• Tractor driving for spring work, harvesting, and animal care in the barn. E.g., manure spreading, plowing, harrowing, mowing, baling, feeding, and fertilizing.
• Maintenance and repairs of machinery
• Assist in daily operations and animal husbandry

Qualifications

• Experience driving various tractor equipment
• Mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills.
• Problem solver who works well in a team
• Willingness and ability to work flexibly seasonally, which means longer working days in summer during harvest and some weekend work during the barn period.

The position starts in March.
