Welcome to the area of psychiatry, rehabilitation, and habilitation! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We aim to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse at the psychosis clinic, you will have an exciting and varied job. We work in teams, and our work takes place either at the clinic or in the patient's home. In your role as a nurse, you will be responsible for maintaining continuous contact and coordinating the efforts that the patient needs. A large part of your work involves assessments and conversations with patients and their relatives.

We work extensively to motivate our patients towards a healthy lifestyle, and we conduct courses for our patients based on care pathways' recommendations. These include IMR, Mindfulness, NADA, psychoeducational training, NECT, etc. Contact and collaboration with the patient's relatives, family, municipality, workplace/school, and the Social Insurance Agency are significant parts of the treatment work. We have an injection clinic for our patients every week, staffed by at least two nurses.

Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with a strong interest and preferably professional experience with patients suffering from psychotic disorders. You need to be comfortable working independently, confident in making your own decisions, and driving the patient's care process, as well as being committed to developing care work to meet the patient's treatment and nursing needs.

You are a team player who contributes with competence in the work around the patient and has a strong commitment to your work. Furthermore, you value good collaboration with your colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment. As a person, you are proactive and skilled at creating and maintaining good contacts with our partners, but also flexible and able to adapt to changing situations, enjoying when your day is rich in content and varied.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A B driver's license is a requirement.
