At the district rehabilitation center in Kalmar, you will meet patients from several diagnostic groups with different rehabilitation needs. You will conduct examinations, assessments, treatments, and lead training groups. We have close collaboration within the workgroup, with other units within Rehab Söder, and with other actors such as the health centers in Kalmar.

You will be part of a team with physiotherapists and occupational therapists. You will receive a mentor and an individual introduction tailored to your previous experiences.

The working hours are scheduled during the day from Monday to Friday.

The position is a temporary contract starting as soon as possible until 2026-09-30, with a possibility of extension.

About you

You are a licensed physiotherapist and preferably have experience working in primary care/district rehabilitation. As a person, you are self-driven, take initiative, and are flexible. You enjoy collaborating with others, are solution-focused, and structured in your work. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Your future workplace

Rehab Söder is tasked with offering citizens in southern Kalmar County rehabilitative efforts at both specialist and primary care levels. The unit is also responsible for the region's dietitian services in the southern part of the county and for the social worker services at the Kalmar County Hospital. Services should, when necessary, be provided in collaboration with other healthcare providers and the patient's social network. The goal is for our services to lead to maintained or improved health.

The Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialist care, maternity care, and postnatal care. Over 2300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents.
