Vehicle Manager at Svensk Hemleverans

About the Role

As a Vehicle Manager at Svensk Hemleverans, you will have overall responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of our vehicle fleet in Sörmland. The role is both administrative and practical, suitable for those with good technical understanding who enjoy hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Planning and booking of service, inspections, and repairs
• Ongoing monitoring of vehicle condition and operational status
• Troubleshooting and basic mechanical repairs
• Contact with workshops and suppliers
• Administration and documentation related to the vehicle fleet
• Practical support in operations as needed

About the Position

The position encompasses 30 hours per week (75%). We are looking for someone who:

• Has a good technical understanding of vehicles and maintenance
• Is self-sufficient, structured, and solution-oriented
• Enjoys taking responsibility and can make decisions in daily operations
• Has a valid driver's license (B)
• Is at least 18 years old and can communicate fluently in Swedish

Experience in vehicle maintenance, workshops, operations, or similar is an advantage.

Svensk Hemleverans offers fast and affordable home deliveries within an efficient and sustainable logistics chain, primarily tasked with delivering morning newspapers. To maximize the utility of each delivery, we also carry letters and packages. Our delivery areas include Östergötland, northern Småland, Uppland, Gotland, Sörmland, Norrbotten, and northern Västerbotten.
