We are looking for a skilled and service-oriented service technician/car mechanic to Eskilstuna for an assignment with our client. Here, we offer a modern workplace focused on quality, customer satisfaction, and long-term development.

Job Responsibilities

As a service technician, you will perform troubleshooting, service, and repairs on passenger and light commercial vehicles. You are responsible for delivering high-quality work, maintaining good communication with the customer reception, and documenting completed work in the workshop system.

• Troubleshooting and diagnostics of mechanical and electrical faults

• Perform service, maintenance, and repairs according to the manufacturer's recommendations

• Replacing brakes, wheel bearings, drive shafts, suspension, and other common components

• Using diagnostic tools and reading fault codes, as well as programming/updating control units when necessary

• Documenting work, time spent, and spare parts in the workshop system

• Collaborating with customer reception to ensure a good customer experience and clear feedback

• Following safety procedures and contributing to a good working environment

Qualifications and Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is structured, service-oriented, and responsible. You enjoy working independently as well as in a team and have a desire to develop together with colleagues and customers.

• Vocational training in automotive technology or equivalent experience

• Experience working as a car mechanic/service technician

• Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and electronic systems

• Experience working in digital workshop systems; accustomed to documentation

• Driver's license B is required

• Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written; English is a plus

The position is full-time with placement in Eskilstuna. Start date according to agreement.
