VS Truck has workshops in several locations across Sweden, with technicians spread from Gävle down to Skåne.

About the Role

As a Field Technician, you will work with service, repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of construction machinery and forklifts at VS Truck's customer sites. You will have your own customer base and serve as the direct contact, providing the personal service that VS Truck is known for. You will plan your service work, order spare parts, and handle service administration. The position is home-based, and you will have access to a fully equipped service vehicle. The work is independent, but for major repairs, you will collaborate with a colleague.

Specifically, the duties include:

• Service, repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of construction machinery and forklifts.
• Service and repair planning.
• Technical support and advice to customers.
• Spare parts management.

About You

To be considered for this role, you have:

• Experience in mechanical service, installation, and troubleshooting of heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting vehicle electronics and reading electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of diesel machinery.
• Experience in field-based work and customer contact.
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• A valid B-driver's license.

As a person, you are self-motivated, trustworthy, and solution-oriented. You can handle multiple focus areas simultaneously and have a strong focus on quality. You work meticulously with both your tasks and subsequent documentation. The role involves numerous contact points, both internally and externally, so it is important that you thrive in communicative roles, have a service-oriented mindset, and find it inspiring to meet customers.

Additional Information

• Start Date: According to agreement
• Location: Västerås and surrounding areas
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00
• Salary: According to agreement
