Listen to this job as a podcast! Listen as production manager Mattias Persson talks about the content of the position and the company Skånefrö.

Technician with breadth. From adjustable wrench to programming Skånefrö is a local and family-oriented company with roots deep in the Skåne soil.

We have been around for a long time and build everything we do on a combination of experience, innovation, and a strong desire to develop. With us, you will meet both old stalwarts in the machine park and completely new technical solutions and people who care about each other and the work we do. We are now looking for someone who wants to be an important part of that. One day you might change a bearing on a machine from the 1950s, the next day you adjust the settings on a robot or troubleshoot a control system. We are looking for someone who enjoys working broadly, thrives on solving problems, and is not afraid to get a little dirty when needed.

As an all-round technician with us, you will work both practically and theoretically. You see the big picture, take responsibility, and are confident in leading and instructing others in the team when the situation requires it.

What you will do

  • Screw, repair, and maintain machines, forklifts, and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and find solutions within mechanics, electricity, and control systems
  • Work with settings, programming, and improvement of automation equipment
  • Participate in development work and improvements in production
  • Support and instruct colleagues in technical matters
  • Do simpler construction and adaptation jobs when something needs to be built or improved
  • If you have welding experience, it's a plus, but it's absolutely not a requirement

Who we think you are You really like technology. You are curious, solution-oriented, and used to taking initiative. Perhaps you have worked with industry, maintenance, or automation before. But just as important is your attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate. You work meticulously, enjoy responsibility, and like being part of something that actually matters.

And most importantly: Don't be afraid to submit an application even if you don't tick all the boxes on the list. If you have the right drive, interest, and attitude, we are happy to teach you the rest. Since we operate our own district heating network with pellet boilers and pyrolysis boilers, on-call duty is part of the job, so it's good if you feel comfortable with that.

What you will get with us.

  • A varied job where no two workdays are alike
  • A workplace where we help each other and where decision-making paths are short
  • The opportunity to influence and develop together with engaged colleagues
  • A combination of tradition, new technology, and common sense
