We are now looking for a psychologist for adult habilitation, the placement location will be discussed as part of the recruitment!

The habilitation in Region Dalarna is a county-wide specialist resource based in five locations in the region. Our mission is to offer individuals with congenital or early acquired disabilities combined specialist interventions to achieve the best possible functional ability and a good quality of life.

As a psychologist with us, you will have a varied and meaningful role where you contribute to making a real difference in people's lives. Your main responsibilities consist of psychological assessments for intellectual disabilities, ADHD, autism, and cognitive evaluations for early acquired brain injuries. You will also work with treatments related to the individual's specific disability. You will provide support in managing challenging behaviors through counseling and guidance to the patient's network, such as residential staff, assistants, and relatives.

An important part of the job involves spreading knowledge - both through training and information initiatives - about our target groups and their diagnoses.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and work closely with both the patient and their relatives, where we together shape the interventions based on the individual's needs. There is also the opportunity to conduct group activities and training for patients and relatives, based on demand and interest.

You will also have regular meetings with other psychologists to discuss cases, distribute cases, and make priorities together. You will receive supervision and good opportunities for professional development as needed. You will be offered a good introduction with a mentor and supervisor, as well as a professional team with colleagues in the organization who contribute to your development. The introduction includes training aimed at the work in habilitation.

The position also involves collaboration with other actors within healthcare and municipal activities. We are at the forefront of digital development and continuously work to find new solutions to enable patient visits and meetings remotely.

Requirements:

• We are looking for a licensed psychologist. For the right person, the possibility of completing their PTP with us can be discussed.

Meritorious:

• Experience in habilitation.

You have an interest in the habilitation's target group. As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
