Nursing Assistant for Orthopedic Operations
Together, we are developing Sahlgrenska University Hospital for a sustainable future. We are transforming healthcare with the goal of becoming Europe's leading university hospital by 2032. Together with our patients, we work for quality, accessibility, patient safety, research, education, and innovation – in a cohesive healthcare system in the Västra Götaland region. Our vision and goals aim for care of the highest quality, where the patient is always in focus. We offer healthcare locally and regionally, as well as highly specialized care to patients across the country and abroad. Our employees are our strength, contributing to knowledge exchanges nationally and internationally. With digital tools and new working methods, we can simplify everyday life at the hospital and offer modern, accessible, and effective care of the highest quality.
We need more people in our team.
We are now looking for you who are interested in joining our operations with a strong commitment to our patients. Orthopedic patients have varying lengths of stay, ranging from one day to several weeks. The patient is at the center, and care is person-centered.
About the Orthopedic Department
Sahlgrenska University Hospital is the largest provider of orthopedic care in the country, with approximately 500 employees. We provide regional and county healthcare and have several national assignments. Within the orthopedic department, we work to treat, care for, and rehabilitate patients with injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. We perform both emergency and planned surgeries and treatments. We receive and treat patients from all over Sweden in specialized areas such as foot, spine, prosthetic, and arthroscopic surgery.
We strive to provide good care of high quality and conduct high-quality research, development, and education. Our operations are primarily conducted at Mölndal Hospital, but also at Drottning Silvia's Children's and Adolescents' Hospital and Sahlgrenska Hospital. The orthopedics at Sahlgrenska University Hospital has a long tradition of research and is internationally prominent in several clinical areas.
Our wards at Mölndal Hospital are highly specialized departments for acute and planned orthopedic care.
