We are now looking for a nurse to be placed at Solgården Elderly Care in Tidan.

The nursing unit is responsible for health and medical care interventions for patients enrolled in municipal home health care, in residences, short-term units, and day activities within elderly care, disability services, and social psychiatry. The operation is part of the care and social services sector.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a nurse in home health care is largely independent and involves assessing, planning, organizing, and performing medical treatment and nursing interventions for the patients enrolled in municipal health care for whom you have nursing responsibility. The work is varied and involves everything from medical assessments, sampling, and wound dressings to more advanced home healthcare.

You are responsible for the patient's care process and participate in interdisciplinary teams together with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants. You also have close contact with relatives and are an important link between the patient and other healthcare providers. As a nurse/district nurse with us, you are responsible for guiding and delegating nursing staff, and you are also a support for other team members around the patient. Your knowledge and experience are valuable, so it is part of your role to contribute to the improvement work of the organization.

Collaboration is a significant part of your role and a success factor in the mission. You need to be able to work with both acute issues and long-term goals.

We work daytime and every 6th weekend during the day.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a district nurse or a licensed nurse. You have good collaboration skills. For us, this means that you work well with others and can create constructive cooperation for change. To succeed in the mission, you need to have a flexible approach and be able to organize and prioritize activities effectively.

You have good experience working with IT-based journal systems and can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A B driver's license is a requirement.
