Nurse/District Nurse

The nursing unit is responsible for health and medical care interventions for patients enrolled in municipal health and medical care at home, in residences, short-term units, and day activities within elderly care, disability support, and social psychiatry. The operation is part of the care and support sector.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a nurse in the team during evenings and nights is largely independent and involves assessing, planning, organizing, and performing medical treatment and care interventions for the patients enrolled in municipal health and medical care for whom you have care responsibility.

The work is varied and includes everything from medical assessments, sample collections, and wound dressings to more advanced home healthcare.

You are responsible for the patient's care process and participate in interdisciplinary teams together with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants. You also have close contact with relatives and are an important link between the patient and other healthcare providers. As a nurse with us, you are responsible for guiding and delegating care staff, and you are also a support for other employees in the team around the patient. Your knowledge and experience are valuable, which is why it is part of your role to contribute to the improvement work of the organization.

Collaboration is a significant part of your role and a success factor in the mission. You need to be able to work with both acute issues and long-term goals.

In this role, you will only work evenings and nights (weekdays and every other weekend). We have a weekly working time of 27.57 hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a district nurse or a licensed nurse. You have good collaboration skills. For us, this means that you work well with others and can create constructive cooperation for change. To succeed in the mission, you need to have a flexible approach and be able to organize and prioritize activities effectively.

You have good experience with IT-based journal systems and can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A valid driver's license (B) is required.
