BUP Region Dalarna consists of five outpatient clinics and a county resource that includes an acute team, ward 68 for inpatient care, a family therapy unit, and an eating disorder unit. All units are under a common operations manager and operate from a holistic perspective on child and adolescent psychiatric care. The mission is to work with families where children and adolescents exhibit serious psychiatric issues, applying a wide range of evidence-based treatment methods. If necessary, treatment is conducted in close collaboration with other healthcare providers and networks, such as schools and social services.

We are now offering a position for you as a psychologist at the outpatient clinic in the picturesque Mora, an exciting location that offers opportunities for a rich leisure life regardless of interests and is close to most amenities!

You will be part of an engaged and competent workgroup. The interdisciplinary team consists of social workers, psychotherapists, psychologists, nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and a manager. You will have a manager who is well-versed in the operations' mission and psychological work, who cares about a good work environment and finding new solutions to meet the needs of our patients in the best way possible. To promote more effective care, increase job satisfaction, and foster a good work environment, we work for the right use of competence by organizing work and roles so that each professional group's skills are utilized optimally.

As a new psychologist, you may be offered an experienced colleague as a mentor, and you will also participate in continuous supervision. During your first year, you will undergo an introductory training designed to complement and deepen your child psychiatric knowledge and familiarize you with the routines and guidelines that govern the operations. The training aims to prepare you to meet the demands of the operations and to gradually take on greater responsibility as your experience and competence grow. You will also be involved in the county-wide psychologist network that holds regular professional meetings.

Psychologist for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic in Mora

As a psychologist at the BUP clinic in Mora, you play an important role in the interdisciplinary collaboration where you contribute your perspective in assessment, investigation, and psychotherapeutic treatment. The work is very varied and involves individuals, families, and groups, and there is an opportunity to specialize in specific areas and patient groups depending on your interests and expertise. For those who are engaged in contributing to the development of the operations, there is also a chance to work with supervision and improvement projects, creating a dynamic and stimulating work environment where you can influence and develop professionally.

Requirements

• Licensed psychologist.
• Experience in assessment, investigation, and treatment work.
• Driver's license.

Desirable

• Further trained specialist psychologist or licensed psychotherapist.
