As a care assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will provide good care, service, and support to our residents.

We are now looking for new care assistants for the home care service Edda in Uppsala.

Edda home care is located in central Uppsala. You can easily reach us by bus, bike, or a short walk from the central station.

With us, you will have competent and dedicated managers who support and develop you in your role as a care assistant and in your development at Forenede Care. We run a company where you grow together with us.

In the role of care assistant with us, you will perform care and support based on the customer's wishes, and in accordance with applicable assistance decisions with a strong focus on quality. This includes performing personal hygiene, assisting with meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and social interaction. Social interaction can include conversations, games, bike rides, music activities, or similar.

Job Description

We are currently looking for one/multiple colleagues for full-time/part-time to a permanent position with a probationary period/temporary employment/specific fixed-term employment with an employment rate of “80 %” starting on 2026-06-08.

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

• Be able to cycle

We also see it as an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.

Before we offer employment, you must present an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require proof of a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
