Service Technician in Building Automation – Next Step at Fläkt Teknik

About the Role

Fläkt Teknik is now looking for a Service Technician in building automation who wants to combine technical work with the opportunity to grow in the role.

You will work with control and regulation technology for ventilation, heating, and cooling and be involved in the entire chain – from programming and commissioning to service, troubleshooting, and further development of existing systems.

The role provides a balance between practical work at the customer site and more in-depth work in the office. Initially, there is a strong focus on operational technology, but for those who want to develop further, there is the opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility in customer dialogue, technical choices, and how solutions are designed. There is room to sometimes set the toolbox aside and instead work more creatively, analytically, and collaboratively with colleagues in the development of smart automation solutions. In the long run, the role entails great freedom under responsibility – you plan your own days, book customer meetings, and drive projects towards set goals. Fläkt Teknik offers a service vehicle and training in their PLC environment if you have not worked in it before.

Examples of Tasks

Work with control and regulation technology for heating, ventilation, and cooling
Install, commission, and optimize control systems
Program and further develop PLC solutions
Work with service and preventive maintenance
Participate in project planning and technical choices
Engage in customer dialogue and development of customized solutions

We Are Looking for You Who

You have a few years of experience in building automation and appreciate both practical work and the opportunity to think bigger about solutions. You are comfortable with technology, curious to develop, and enjoy taking responsibility.

You are communicative, solution-oriented, and enjoy collaborating – both internally and with customers.

We Believe You Have

At least 2 years of experience in building automation and control and regulation technology
Experience with control systems such as Siemens, PLC, Bastec, Regin, Trend, or similar
Driver's license (B)
Swedish and English in speech and writing

Meritorious

Knowledge of networks (router, switch, VPN)
Experience with Desigo CC, Webport, or similar
Experience with project-based work
